
MR. JOEL MOYES > CO-FOUNDER, PRINCIPAL
Mr. Moyes has over 20 years of commercial real estate development, brokerage, and commercial investment management experience.
Prior to forming Kinetic Companies in 2005, Joel was immersed in commercial brokerage, consulting, pre-leasing, acquisition, investment sales, and development services in the Western U.S. During his tenure, Mr. Moyes has closed myriad acquisition and dispositions in addition to hundreds of commercial sales and lease transactions, totaling hundreds of millions in aggregate consideration while marketing an annual portfolio of over +2 million square feet.
His involvement in every aspect of real estate, from due diligence, financial engineering, underwriting, pre-leasing, development, site selection, tenant representation and strategic planning affords him the opportunity to leverage that experience in today’s opportunistic market. Mr. Moyes oversees the day-to-day business of the company and all operations, finance, and management. Mr. Moyes graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Real Estate from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
As former State Director of ICSC for Arizona and New Mexico, he has been a member of the “International Council of Shopping Centers” since 2002 and is past Chairman of ICSC’s Southwest Idea Exchange. Mr. Moyes has previously overseen the trade organization and provincial volunteer activities including Retail, Operations, Government Relations, Next-Gen, and Alliance State Chairs.
Joel is actively involved in several local charities like Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Arizona and is a co-founder of the ”Taking Care of Business” charity, a men’s focused self help group enabling homeless fathers still dedicated to their families to regain their footing.
